If you don’t know Dave Ramsey, he’s the guy behind the best-selling book The Total Money Makeover and the 13-week class called Financial Peace University. He’s apt to call people out on their stupidity with regards to personal finance. But he’s also helped tens of thousands of Americans reach “debt free” status.
For many households, “Dave Ramsey” can be an honored name, a name spoken with reverence and thanksgiving. For some people, “Dave Ramsey” is a curse word.
We have instituted the Dave Ramsey plan in our house — and we certainly have our very strong opinions about this dude.
